would you like some common milkweed (asclepias syriaca) seeds? I have an almost ludicrous amount of seed pods that are ready to be harvested and I am happy to share them with you! great news! big grant I wrote for work was awarded, so we get to do another 2–year project helping community members publish their own books! now to balance that with 3 smaller grants, moving 2 libraries, and reclassifying 20,000+ items 😅

I am trying to ID a book I read as a kid. It was a chapter book, I was reading it in 1985, and it was definitely at least five years old if not more. The cover definitely had 1970s vibes. It was about a young woman who travels to the city and lives alone in an apartment and cooks liver and onions quite often to ostensibly make people think that she wasn't alone because a young woman alone wouldn’t cook that herself I guess?
