I am trying to ID a book I read as a kid. It was a chapter book, I was reading it in 1985, and it was definitely at least five years old if not more. The cover definitely had 1970s vibes. It was about a young woman who travels to the city and lives alone in an apartment and cooks liver and onions quite often to ostensibly make people think that she wasn't alone because a young woman alone wouldn’t cook that herself I guess?
