Ho una teoria un po' provocatoria sulle interfacce degli OS:
Le grandi aziende (Apple, Microsoft, Google) fanno scelte "dittatoriali" basate sulla convenienza economica.
I grandi progetti open source (Gnome, KDE) fanno scelte ugualmente "dittatoriali" basate sull'ideologia.
Es, il clic singolo per aprire i file su KDE, a cui sono voluti tipo 10 anni di telemetria per convincersi che non piaceva, o la rimozione della system tray su GNOME.
Forse ci illudiamo che siano tanto più democratici

For my little experience, if you choose Plasma, always use cutting edge distros. The development is fast and so the stability improvements and bug fixing.
I switched from Kubuntu to KaOS, rolling, because Canonical chose to stay on Plasma 5.27 (an older version) which is much more buggy than the new Plasma 6.

Yes, but it has a lot more functions.
Would you have wasted more time with the little bugs in Kde or with the lack of features in the other DEs? 😊
It's the question I asked myself before switching to Plasma. I'm not trying to convince you as I know you did a looooot more tests than me.
