Bought a dishwasher. Spent the minimum to get free shipping and appliance removal. I get confirmation. The confirmation says delivery and haul away. Dishwasher comes today, and no, they won't take the old one. I spent a half hour on the phone. They are coming to get the old one in a week. Appliance delivery never goes right for me.

Remember the freedom of cassette tapes? You could finally put your favourite songs together and leave the whole collection at home. Those mixes were epic. We made different recordings for different moods or activities. Do you remember how connected we were to ourselves through that music selection? It was a hidden mindfulness that we don't experience anymore.

I watched We Have A Ghost on #netflix last night. The first 45 minutes is pretty amusing, but I stopped paying attention because it just wasn't good anymore. Finished it feeling like I'd seen a pretty hollow production.

Why don't we learn to grow massive amounts of algae. Water colums in cities, alongside highways, fast biomass growth. It would suck up carbon (solar powered) and the byproduct is oxygen. Probably faster and more efficient than tree planting.
