Added another track on @npub1yfg…v6vg from my personal music project, Hujai, which is kind of on pause at the moment.
The name “Hujai” came to me during a mushroom trip in my room a while back. I used to grow mushrooms myself, and the trips I’ve had have been really interesting - to say the least - giving me some really meaningful insights. I remember sitting on the floor, painting and playing guitar, as the mushroom was speaking to me.
This track came out of that experience.
The recording was made later on with my friend John on drums (who was also in my other band, Big Awesome, which also has tracks on Wavelake). Recording was done live in Johns bedroom with two room mics.
My favorite part is the chorus and bridge in the middle of the song—it brings me back to that trip, a mix of sadness, peace, and beauty that still gives me goosebumps. Use headphones if you have them.

Ahh yes I started watching this actually!
It’s cool, but for me I think the time that I would need to do this is not quite there and I’d rather acquire the server one unit since it’s more of a plug and play method. I don’t mind supporting them either for their products even though it may be chapter to do the build myself.

#nostr keeps blowing me away with how it can shift the way we connect with others and share content.
Yesterday I uploaded some old tracks from my band Big Awesome to @npub1yfg…v6vg to test the waters, and I’ve already earned some sats just for sharing it. It’s amazing to see what this protocol can do, and I hope my experiences spark curiosity in others.
There’s still a lot for me to learn, but I’m feeling more confident every day that this is the right direction.
Here’s a track I recorded back in my friend’s bedroom—it’s a bit of a favorite of mine, especially the guitar lead, even if we didn’t do much with it at the time. Good ol’lo-fi tones:

Back in 2012 I released a record called “Birdfeeder” with my band Big Awesome. This is the cassette version of the release by Known Pleasure Records.
I play guitar on the first two tracks (Grey’s Birthday and Birdfeeder) and then play bass on the other two tracks.
We were considered as an emo-punk twinkle band. This was during the time of the “emo revival” with bands such as Dikembe, Everyone Everywhere, Glocca Morra, Dads, etc, etc…
