No capital gain tax, ever, in Switzerland.
But we pay the wealth tax each year on the total asset value, realized or not, everything included, real estate, car, metal, stock, fiat, art, ...
It's between 0 (below 100k), start around 1 per thousand and can top at the maximum between 5 per thousand and 3 percent! depending on the region where you are living (crazy differences per region).
I still think that it's more fair than capital gain tax, but there should really be no such tax, or at least not allow some region to go 10 times higher than others.

I did the same long time ago with ETH and DAI. Put ETH in collateral to get DAI, bought more ETH with DAI that I put back in the collateral. I was able to survive 50% price down. When it was 45% down, into panic, I send more ETH in the collateral, was able to withstand 60% down. Left a week on holiday, got liquidated at 62% price down which stay at this level for less than an hour then went back 20ish% up and never went back to this level ever again.
Learned the lesson, for long I would never talk about it again.
But now BTC is getting slightly less volatile (and much less than any shitcoin), might worth reconsider it, but not during a bullmarket, only after a deep bottom of a bear. The closer we are from ATH, the higher is the risk of a large correction, especially flash crash.

My Umbrel is getting more or more often offline, LND and BTCPay are crashing or freezing randomly, sometimes it comes back, sometimes I have to manually restart them and LND takes a long time, 30min to more than 1h to be back online.
Anyone having similar issues? I run it on Raspi4 8GB for about 2 years. Should I do some cleanup in LND or electrum db?
I already uninstall everything not really needed, including Mempool 😥, what else can I do?

When fiat will be zero and everything will be priced in sats, maybe your rent will be 1000 sats per month, but every day it will be harder and harder to earn these 1000 sats while your landlord will wait and wait to reduce the rent, especially in area with more demand than offers.

Just one thing that might not work long term. If everything is priced in BTC (sats) eventually, what will incentivise companies to reduce their prices as fast as Bitcoin gain value? Like now they want to increase price to not loose money or to make more money, then they will try to keep as long as possible the price in sats before reducing it, for very competitive markets where it's easy to move to competition, that will works but for market with low competition and high friction to change, like real estate rental, people might be trapped paying the same amount of sats for years while it's getting hardet and harder to earn them.
Any tough about that?

Levis turned to bad quality, I destroyed 3 pairs in a couple of years. I swirched to Jack&Jones ones which are good quality for the price, they last me 2-3 years so far and still in good shape.
Still not as good as jeans from 20-30 years ago I guess.

For me the only positive from Saylor is that he is a good source for meme creator, but I'm still thinking that he is a risk for the whole Bitcoin ecosystem.

MicroStrategy is not great, it's dangerous. The first payout will arrive next year, if everything is fine, people will choose the stock, stock will be dilluted, profit will be reduce, some will sell to get out at profit, price will take a hit, more will sell, if anywhere around this Bitcoin take a hit, like -50 or -70% which is perfectly possible after next top that could end up quite high next year, you will get a kind of bank run out of MSTR which could collapse the whole strategy.
Everything could be fine as well and people would outperform Bitcoin in the short or mid term but this thing cannot go up forever Laura.

Same boat and I didn't want to spend 70$ equivalent for the #Yubikey 5 USB-C (I have the feeling that they increase a lot in price since I got my first one), so I tried the token2.swiss option (I'm in Switzerland, wanted to support local company and it's made in Switzerland, I guess last assembly and programming but still).
Price is much better, like 20-25$, the USB-C model is more compact than the Yubikey USB-A but wider than the Yubikey 5 USB-C.
It had NFC but I don't really need it if I can plug it in the phone directly.
The Rev2 model can host 300 passkey, it's crazy huge, especilly that most service still use the certificate version were data is not stored on the key (so far only GitHub is listed on the key as a passkey).
For passkey and FIDO2 2FA it's very good.
For the rest, Yubikey is much better. First Linux support for OTP is really combersome, you need to manually install and run a Python app which doesn't work with shenanigans (I mean, installing dependencies and plugins), so far it's still not working on my Ubuntu but tech support is very responsive, hopefully they will help me to sove it when I got time.
Android app is working fine for OTP.
Using the key for 2FA on Linux (unlock, sudo, ...) is not working yet but I'm still trying.
PGP and ssh login with ed25519-sk I didn't try yet.
I also couldn't add my HMAC for Keypass XC on it, not sure it's possible.
I would say, if you strictly use it for passkey/FIDO2 2FA, it's a good product at a competitive price, it you want to have all your OTP in it and you are ok to read it on your phone, fine. (Or on Windows/iOS of course, didn't test but it should be better supported).
If you want the more advanced stuff, get a Yubikey, the time I lost so far is not worth the cost saving for me.

If you don't focus on buying back exactly as much sats at the exact same rate, then it's not so cumbersome. I know I spend about x amount per month + I know I will got to a conference and spend some, then when I see a drop, I stacks enough to cover that + some margin. If I had an unplanned sats spend, small amount is ok, larger I also try to buy back in the next 2-3 weeks as much sats or more if I can afford. If you do that you should be able to spend sats without bothering about the rate as you always buy back a bit more and on average it should more or less be the same rate unless it's during one of the short and rare parabolic phase where you might plan differently.
Eventually we will do the opposite, as it will be more profitable to hold everything in BTC and keep only a small amount in fiat for daily purchases, then you sell when you need to pay a bill or something. Some service will allow you t pay bill in BTC directly and the bill is settled in fiat for you in the background, until everyone accept BTC.
When you have only one month of budget or less in fiat on your bank account and that it's a fraction of your BTC holding, you are doing it right.

This make me crazy as well, in Bitcoin meetup people paying in Bitcoin are still very low and we have no capital gain tax, so nothing to report if you spend and buy back.
Same speach, always, "why spend my BTC if it should worth more tomorrow?" Why I answer: "If you have the cash to pay, you have the cash to buy more Bitcoin, if you really believe it will be worth more tomorrow, buy at least as much as you spend, buy 1.2, 1.5, 2 times more of possible, when price is going down 2-3% or more, buy in advance for your next spend. Using your Bitcoin will only make it even more valuable in the long term."
On the other end, merchants who are serious about it should offer some discount, cards cost a lot, like 4-6% minimum, cash cost as well, you must maintain change, spend to keep the cash safe between 2 working days, insure the risk of thief... A merchant accepting Bitcoin without 5 to 10% discount is not serious about pushing Bitcoin usage.

I didn't test as many as you did but I agree they all have flow in a way or another. For me Amethyst is one of the closer with only notification not working (both play version with play service installed and foss version with UnifedPush). It is also not working well with Amber for signing, I had to import my nsec directly.
Primal have issues with zap to certain address. Probably other issues I didn't use it much.
0Xchat (not on your list) messed up with my relay and/or block list somehow. And some private message and public chat were not always sent or visible when sent from another client with same account. Better to use it with a dedicated nsec. The cashu wallet didn't work with my own mint, the sats were sent to the mint but never show up in 0Xchat wallet. However it was giving timely notifications (even for zap and replay, not the main purpose of the app).
Web app I almost never use as everyone I tried was miles away from apps experiences.

I tried #OXchat and it looks cool, but I used my main nostr nsec, now have many connection request and I can either add contact or block.
I also get notification for reply of message posted from an other app that are not visible in OXchat.
And I'm not talking about warning and missing message and private chat the I do from both app.
