If you were going to make your internet redundant, how would you set it up to keep costs as low as possible?
Main internet: Local ISP
Secondary:
Starlink?
5G data provider?
Another local ISP if possible (monopoly)?
Starlink seems too expensive.
Using mobile data provider seems reasonable.
If you are blessed to have multiple ISPs available in your area, their infrastructure (cables) probably run right along main ISP? So risk of their service failing as well.

I think it'd be tough to leave Instagram as a photographer, at least until there's a nostr alternative. Even then you could still utilize Instagram to guide people over to your work on nostr. No Threads for me. I just had an internet drop, but it should be good to go now.

The new UI changes on @nprofile…g9gl look good. The recommended apps from others is a cool idea, although many are just repeats of the same apps. I prefer the other breakdown of (Nostr, Bitcoin, Privacy) a little more. I do wish there were a directory with a complete list of all the apps available in the store to be able to explore more.

Been using GrapheneOS for about a couple weeks now. WiFi only, no sim yet. Coming from being an iPhone user for so long, I am loving the freedom android brings.
Every app from zap.store or Obtainium so far. Trying to keep away from Google Play Store (Aurora Store) at all costs, might be a little difficult when it comes to some daily drivers I'm used to (financials and group chat apps). For those I am thinking of setting up different users and keeping permissions locked down to a minimum. Even then there still might be some tracking unfortunately.
Overall, I think I'll become a Android fan boy as time goes on. Still going to keep an iPhone around for testing any new nostr apps that come out, but I can see Graphene coming to be a daily driver in the near future. #GrapheneOS #android
