you are assuming that inscriptions are a feature, not a bug. devs are simply fixing bugs. there was a bug in 2010 that allowed the creation of 184 billion btc. that txn at the time was considered a valid txn but again, this was a bug in the software so devs went ahead and fixed it.
just because you can fit 20 people in a car that seats 5 doesn’t mean you should. you can go ahead, but i’d rather not.

I am trying to become the uncle jim for my family and close ones. I just started learning about lightning, managing liquidity, etc. and I want to be able to figure out how to organize different accounts for different people.
Originally, prior to learning about lightning, I was just going to create BIP-85 seeds for each person, allowing me to recover individuals funds in an emergency. Now, I am thinking that the best set up would be to create different lightning wallets for each person through my own node. (I’m still figuring out the best way to plan for disaster recovery I’m still not sure how to backup lightning channels)

Start9 is amazing I’ve just started running my own. I had challenges trying to download bitcoin core from source and i’m not techie enough to figure out a lot of command line stuff but Start9 has super simple UI so I don’t have to worry about fucking up my node by accident.
