Yup...handling Markdown is quite a challenge with all those editors...
I've been struggling too finding just one that works...a WYSIWYG Markdown editor...

For the long-form content I'm cross-posting from https://nostrver.se/blog I use https://www.drupal.org/project/ckeditor5_markdown_editor but it does not handle any Nostr identifiers I paste there.
Problem is too that many client do handle those identifiers in different ways...
For example, when I post a njump markdown formatted link in the content, a part of that link (which refers to a Nostr event) gets rendered instead of showing the full link.

My dad qualified for the UCI World Championships Gravel last Sunday in his age group M65 💪🏻
I also saw his finish, which was a very special unique moment as he stopped racing when I was born (38 years ago). Now he slowly is getting back in this game and I see he is really enjoying it.

I also think @npub1php…ha0j (scratching my own itch) would be a nice fit as a project which need transparant funding towards the future. Those funds can be spent for time for further development and maintaining the software library.

Time flies, especially with Nostr. Somewhere in August '22 it was the first time I heard about Nostr. It took some months before I joined as I was quite active in the fediverse during the TwitterMigration. It also took some months before Nostr really began to resonate: https://sebastix.nl/blog/why-nostr-resonates/. From that moment I started to contribute to this movement in my own way as a fullstack web & Drupal developer. Since then I never stopped and my gut feeling tells me that this will not stop coming decade ;)
To me it still feels we've just started and we're early with the protocol and all tech around it. The future is bright and I really enjoy being together with good people (meatspace and digital) and their intentions. We all share the same goals around building just a better internet. An open internet, accessable for everyone. Free (as in freedom) and more neutral. Easy to build on and permissionless.
Nostr is a life-changer, so cheers & LFG! 💜 💜 💜
