Well said, I agree.
I'm an admin to of an instance with around 300 users (but it's totally inactive) but know some other Dutch admins of bigger instances are always challenging updating, managing and moderation (with a team) their communities. I have much respect for their efforts, but I also see what price they are paying. It's up to them if it's worth it 😃
And technically, the protocol is really a pain in the ass to work with. Especially when you're familiar with Nostr (like me) there is no hair on my body thinking about to go back trying to build something with activitypub.
