Just had an exciting moment that my normie friends will never appreciate.
I bought a couple beers.

Need some networking help here. Tag anyone that might be able to help!
My laptop suddenly started blocking a number of websites on my browser (tried many browsers). Today I was setting up a new wifi router and anything connected to that works fine. However, my laptop hardwired to the modem is now exhibiting the browser blocking for a lot of websites. Curiously YouTube still works fine.
Thoughts on how to resolve?

Just finished this one on Blitz Wallet. Very interesting approach to a spending wallet that I actually like.
Micropayments (sub 1000 sats) - Cashu mints/ecash
Medium range up to 500k sats - Liquid BTC & boltz lightning swaps
Higher values over 500k sats - will open a lightning channel

Yup I've seen this before. Actually came up in conversation with Craig Raw in Nashville. Nothing to worry about. I think this was an error that happens from time to time in older versions, so if you need to update it may resolve it. Either way, you can dry your palms 😂

1. Proton wallet is more akin to something like voltage or Alby Hub (hosted version), in that it's cloud based and encrypted key material based on your credentials. It's also similar to something like blockchain wallet from back in 2015. Not nearly as secure as a seed on your device, but not explicitly a custodial account based system.
2. I haven't used proton since this video, as I pointed out a number of features that I felt were lacking, like RBF, UTXO management, and other privacy features (given it's a device known for privacy and that's what people likely expect).
3. I say a lot of this in the final thoughts but if I didn't give the cloud aspect enough attention then that's my bad. I thought I brought it up by showing access on desktop and mobile but maybe I'm misremembering.
4. Sometimes in making videos every week for 8 years, things get missed. I'm a little sad that someone would instantly jump to "you must have not disclosed an under the table payment from them." I received zero dollars from Proton, and it's not really on my list of recommended wallets - I simply covered it because there was a lot of curiosity around the launch.

I've only ever tried this and POP. Both are pretty straight forward and familiar. That said, I'm not using Linux on a regular basis, just for experimentation and protects like this.

Depends on the model of each one. That said, you're not running it to be profitable, if anything it's a lottery ticket. At 40 watts for the 100 version, it's like a light bulb. Less efficient than the current bitaxe stuff, but it still costs basically nothing to run.
If you're deciding between them, I'd venture to day esthetics may play more of a role in that decision than efficiency for certain people.

Ditto, constant struggle to eat well.
I find the more I'm conscious about it, reading health books, watching videos, etc... The more I actually stick to a plan.
Also the book Fiat Food made me angry at the food industry and spurred some changes in my diet that seem to have some staying power.

It would be good if there was a notification telling you that your intended connection was unsuccessful - or if hovering over the check in the bottom right told you what you were connected to currently.

Hey good question. I was just demonstrating the different ways you could create a channel. Buying one is best if you just want to receive a lot. Setting one up with your own funds is better for spending.
