We are permissionless, so the client dev can define what he'll tolerate, for himself.
Our clients include "m" and "M" tags, in addition to tags, and we can filter for those. They're more useful than kinds, without breaking from normal Internet standards.

This post really hit a nerve, with me, as #GitCitadel is actually a bunch of people who came to Nostr originally to use it, and ended up building a team to solve problems we were having with it. Like
* vaporware,
* disappearing devs,
* ugly, buggy, inefficient apps,
* spammy/gross relays,
* lack of high-quality content,
* Bitcoin-only feeds,
* irritating focus on follow lists and influencers, etc.
I think developers building solutions to solve problems they are personally frustrated with, is the most-powerful project model.
User built. User funded. User tested. User marketed.
Low time-preference, grass-roots development.

Yes, virtuous men are extremely intimidating because you can't easily shake them or bend them to your will. They seem like a force unto themselves, which is why even one of them can have such a massive impact.
Just as the most-virtuous woman is the quintessence of femininity, with -- as you point out -- her own inner strength. The virtues are the same, for both sexes, but they look different, depending upon the environment the person is in, including their own body.
One of the things that, I believe, defines female strength, is the humility of submitting to the limitations and possibilities of their own body, and to a man or men greater than themselves, including Christ. Since they overcome pride, through this.

I'm in the rather odd position of posting self-portraits into a feed containing (white and Asian) women half my age, who are much thinner and better-looking than I am. A few of them have all of their clothes on (usually), and a subset of them are even real.
Sometimes I wonder, if I'm annoying everyone with this odd spergy habit (probably), or if the sort of unapologetic realism of a countenance only an artist could love adds some greater depth of humanity to your feed, that otherwise is full of perfect people doing perfect things in perfect places.
I don't know.

Women like tall men with wide shoulders and backs, narrow hips, and strong legs. They like muscular men, but aren't as obsessed with big, bulging muscles, as men themselves are.
They prefer faces that tend masculine, but not overly so. They are generally flexible about coloring and ethnicity, but will be obsessed with one type of man (the one she is with or wants to be with), but they adapt quickly and switch type, when the opportunity arises. This seems to be a genetic artefact of bride-stealing and war capture, and underlies Stockholm Syndrom (which is just women adapting to their circumstances, rather than a mental disorder).

They like being "allowed" to work, if they want to, but sometimes chafe at "having" to work, as they usually consider that his job.

If clients know you have a local relay and a relay has implemented the "only event IDs" query, then the client could just pull all of the IDs from the remote relay, compare to the local one, and each other, and then only pull one copy of the events that are missing, right?
Wouldn't that cut down on bandwidth, with only a minimal delay? #OnlyDeltas
Or am I missing something obvious?

I suppose that this is the marketing cardinal sin, that @npub180c…h6w6 was writing about, yesterday. Nostr products are too often aimed *people on Nostr*, but that is actually a miniscule subset of the global userbase, and it's one generally uninterested in anything other than zapping and tweeting. That's why products that do things other than zapping and tweeting tend to get little publicity, on here.
We should be designing products that appeal to larger swathes of the potential userbase, including almost all humans on the planet, who have never heard of Nostr and don't care about it. They just want to do XYZ and are looking for a tool, for that purpose. They are not looking for a Nostr tool. And most Nostriches aren't looking for a tool, for that purpose. So, we need to market to the XYZ people, directly, with some Nostriches also falling into that category. This is a distinction with a difference.

The relay holds the repo announcement (that tells you which gitserver to interact with and which npub controls the repo), the issues/bug-reports, and the patches/code-change-requests, and the convos under the issues and patches.
You can use blossom to track git blobs, but it's a bit redundant. Mostly necessary, if your commits are really big.

Seeing stuff like this is always weird, to me, because the greatest inefficiency is not the furniture, it's the apartment. There's a reason why unmarried men used to live in boarding houses and dormitories, and unmarried women lived with relatives.
Nobody thinks of housing as a consumption good, but that's what it is. We have 4 adults living in an apartment about a third larger than his... with furniture.
And we're stacking. 😂

This is one of Nostr's most-popular npubs.
It's also the weirdest one, that just posts cheesy AI pics. It's NIP-05 is ded, but it's WoS wallet has received 417K sats, and people show up regularly and talk at it, in the hopes of receiving an emoji in response from one of his Nostr representatives (who will speak to you on SimpleX). They're digital pilgrims.
It's the closest thing to a Bitcoin shrine, that I've ever seen.

I think this hasn't really been apparent, until now, because we haven't been storing things on Nostr that anyone would demand be censored.
Storing entire publications is what will change this, because it turns Nostr into a sort of InternetArchive/Wikileaks hybrid, but more decentralized, and fully-functioning over Tor or the Internet or Meshtastic, etc. Not just decentralized over space (geographic server distribution, like what Microsoft does for 365 customers), but over people/companies, and legal jurisdictions.

Well, we'll have two of the biggest calendar clients. If we agreed on a new event type or some changes to one, with a NEP (Nostr Extension Proposal, i.e. a spec that's a spin-off to NIP-52), then it becomes part of the protocol. Especially as we have a relay dev on the team, and we could then prove two clients and a relay are compatible with it.
We are also missing some capabilities, in the current NIP, like we'd need more focus on time-zones (as we're planning meetups on different continents and the display is really confusing, otherwise), and we need the ability to link a set of events together into a series (like different appointments during a 3-day conference or meetup: demo session, hackathon, dinner out, etc.), with the series belonging to the calendar. Integrating polling is important, too.
We also need co-hosting. We were talking about maybe having a multi-sig event format, or something containing a sort of id-array, also for issuing confirmation-of-attendance certificates while there, by performing some task that can only be done while standing near each other. Until now, we've been using badges, but not everyone wants them and many clients don't display them. We need some normalization on the "location" tag, so that the places named in different clients sorta match-up, and we can refer to regions and not just specific towns. I'm also missing the ability to generate an ical file, for people who want to save the meeting to their "normie" calendar; that might require additional tags/fields.
But, whatever, I'm probably boring you. None of this is something that's a problem with "Nostr", it's a problem with the NIP being too limited because there haven't been enough people using it to build real products and hold real events. So, let's just change that and get the spec straightened out. The calendar stuff has been half-asleep for too long, even though it's an obvious Core NIP. It's the only NIP that involves humans interacting in real time and meatspace. Different ballgame.
We'll have our people call your people. 😉
