I spent the last few days dumping ~30 discs (DVDs and BluRays) to my NAS, and now postprocessing them to remove subtitles and audiotracks I don't want/need.
It's fun. Each anime publisher has a certain style of how they layout their disc contents - some are super easy to click through in MkvToolNix; but some others are a PAIN in the ASS. xD
But, the main goal? Buy directly, own the disc, forever, and host it on my own Jellyfin.

...Actually you can.
Take a key's first few bytes from an npub to form the secret ID, out of which you get the Trainer ID.
From there you can pick a species from the remainder of the npub.
You can go further, because you can go for IVs and EVs, there's enough of the npub left.

Absolutely miss the guy. Cook is a strategist and was a financial officer before being the CEO, not a big fan of the guy although his strats are effective for growing the company.
Jobs' keynotes were what I used as a reference to learn how to hold a presentation infront of people. He was interesting to listen to, had a very colorful personality and although I don't agree with all of his decisions, I did fall for his rizz. x)
But, in early 2022, I stacked a MacBook, an iPad, iPhone and Apple Watch, put that infront of my parents and told them, "you can sell this now." Apple isn't fun anymore and their accessibility beyond broken. When you enable color inversion and then swipe down to open Spotlight, the keyboard is just plain white - tested on an iPhone 16 Pro Max. This wouldn't fly under Jobs...

Once it felt like half the OS was just... gone? xD
Lock- and home screen wallpapers disappeared (were black), no notifications happened and the UI was sluggish. I was actually about to reboot, when it ended up doing it itself. That was at morning after charging overnight - and this is when I enabled automatic reboots. Problem gone.
The other one was right after having booted, I believe this was a little while after the A14 to A15 upgrade. It froze while trying to unlock, and then seemingly crashed because the next thing I saw was the boot loader safety warning screen.
But those were the only two crashes that I vividly remember because they were just this odd. Other than that, nothing that wouldn't happen on a normal OS of things hanging or being a little derpy.

There's a biiiig debate in the JS community wether to do WebComponents or any of the libraries (React, Vue, Svelte, ...). Both are valid approaches; some people even use a mixture. nanoJSX for instance can natively register WebComponents - so it's an in-between of the two solutions. So I just spent some (WAY too much...) time looking at the Yii 1.x API (.../framework/base) and it's components and thinking how I would do those in Go. Some of the interfaces are almost straight copies, but some of the actual components - like CCache, IUserIdentity, IWebUser - are a little different. So instead of doing _everything_ myself, I went and looked at AuthBoss and some other libraries.
Honestly, having sat here for a while now, it isn't actually unthinkable to do this...which is SHOCKING. xD At least to me...lemme hab mah lil world. uwu
So I think I will just ... do it. Yii, on the frontpage, reads as "Yes, it is!" - so my version is nii: "No, it isn't!".
- No, it isn't a good idea to write a Go application this way...
- No, it isn't a modern approach to things - it's literally MVCC from 2010...
- No, it isn't the most performant; in fact, it might be genuenly slow especially on startup since I use reflect to build the router off of your controller's Action*()-methods, kebab-casing them and going from there. Its nasty, okay. xD
- No, it isn't going to change the world. Although I use components with either a good reputation or ongoing maintenance, it is a hobby project and a stupid one ontop.
- No, it isn't for everyone. This is largely for the idiots - of which I am one, mind you - that could never mentally move on/out of the bubble they were in. If you liked MVC, then you might like this project.
Using templ, htmx and a few other tricks, I plan on leaning on the Yii 1.x API in parts, but change it into proper Go-isms where it makes sense (return error instead of bool in many instances).
Oh and you bet I am making sure there is a Nostr integration somewhere in this LMAO XD
