It would be really good to have a project where new users can actually meet with an existing nostr user in their area to prove they're human and get into a "web of humans" where it's easier to get traction.
The project could have a main npub that follows a list of trusted users to repost/introduce every new verified human, until growth gets too fast to keep up with. Maybe it could be automated and never fail to keep up.
On a future version of nostr, the "web of humans" would be based on web-of-trust profile tags, and the main npub reposting newly verified users would become outdated. This tag-based "web of humans" has little to do with this project, it should happen eventually whether or not a project like this ever does.

Ah, thanks for clarifying. All stone would indeed be a joke. I had been arguing with the guy about fan blades for a while, starting with him saying all wind turbines must have blades made of fiberglass or they won't work. I said the fanblades should be made of metal on small ones.
I figured there's no way he's saying a dynamo costs more energy to produce than it can ever generate, and there's no way he's saying adding a mount makes it cost more to produce than it can ever generate, so he must be saying metal fanblades have the same cost-to-produce issue as fiberglass.
Stone isn't that hard to shape uniformly, but it won't have all the helpful properties you want, and it will probably need the fan assembly/bearings replaced more often, but if metal fanblades are really too expensive to produce then it still would solve that problem which is just an extreme example to prove bare material cost can't be the problem

I've thought for a while we need a NIP for specifying censorship levels. I think, strategically, it should be a few simple "main" tags -
0. Nothing filtered
1. Spam filtered
2. Protocol strict (requirements like NIP-13 PoW levels, or proper adherence to other NIPs)
3. Content filtered (CSAM removal, etc.)
4. Npubs banned for permanent or extended periods
5. Users perma-banned (trying to match npubs to user identities and stop them from coming back on a new npub)
When the "content filtering" or ban tags are used, secondary tags could be added to specify the details.
Aside from relay operators self-reporting, users could also use these tags to report observed relay behavior.
The strategic element is that when it's configured this way, any relay that accepts takedown orders from the authorities is automatically at one of the highest levels of restriction, and any relay that accepts orders to ban people is at the highest level of restriction, period. The authorities would look silly for telling citizens they're never allowed to venture into relays tagged 0-2, and 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 silly for telling citizens they're never allowed to venture into relays tagged 3 or 4.

If the LLM coder bots are good enough to take all the jobs, they'll also be good enough to contribute code to open-source projects, so the open source development process will probably evolve into a bunch of humans nitpicking each other's LLM code.
Git-wikis could allow people to discuss and edit code collaboratively, like how contributors work on Wikipedia/Wikifreedia.
Highly active projects could have every line of code accompanied by lines of comments from critics and defenders explaining how the conclusion was reached to use that exact line of code.
This way, humans could retain control, and human knowledge of programming could continue to grow, instead of atrophying.
