AI is certainly going to displace some jobs, but from where we stand right now it's only going to impact lower skilled jobs for the forseeable future.
Whenever I try to use AI to help me write code or do research, it's really good at doing basic stuff that has likely been done by many humans in the past. But whenever I try to do something novel, I run into a brick wall.
This seems sensible to me, as once you veer outside the scope of an AI's set of training data, it won't be able to "predict" what the answer to a query should be.

Spent several weeks running GrapheneOS with the battery optimization setting enabled. This setting is supposed to cap charging at 80% to increase battery longevity.
For whatever reason, enabling this setting really killed my battery life because many times after plugging in to charge overnight, it wouldn't even charge to 80% and I risked having the phone run out of juice before the end of the day.

Wanted to try out a vulnerability scanner SaaS product.

Couldn't create an account because it said my 30 character password didn't include the required upper/lower/numeric/special characters, even though it certainly did.

So the ByBit attack was able to happen because:
Gnosis Safe front end is a web app whose JavaScript gets served from an Amazon S3 bucket.
A Gnosis Safe developer had production AWS keys saved on their machine.
The Dev's machine was compromised and the AWS key used to deploy a malicious front end that only targeted ByBit's wallet.
JavaScript web apps have no cryptographic integrity checks to ensure the code being delivered was actually written by the expected author.
Signing complex EVM transactions can't be done securely on airgapped hardware because the hardware simply doesn't have all of the contextual information needed to know the outcome of executing the transaction.

Humans are training LLMs, but LLMs can then be used to train humans. I've even heard stories of humans being trained by LLMs on how to more effectively prompt LLMs.

Main point is on the goldilocks slide.
Demand fluctuates due to a wide variety of factors. If supply is static then the likelihood that the supply is optimal at any given point becomes quite low.
If cost of block space is too low, it has centralizing effects / makes thermodynamic security unsustainable.
If cost of block space is too high, it also has centralizing effects / pushes users to trusted third parties or other networks.
