I really cannot see why gender would have anything to do with this role; except for the old boys networks, golf days and such. Those long established mens clubs and events keep women from a lot of the decision making and business moves. Reeves gender only affects her insofar as women are traditionally excluded from a lot of after hours events - think Masonic and other such clubs also. Not her mindset - the patriarchy is the hindrance.
