It's hard to overstate the significance of #Bitcoin as the world’s first truly global, decentralized and open-source asset/money. This means that all efforts to advance #BTC adoption and use (even if the focus is hyper-local) accrue in many ways to the full global network of individuals and groups participating in the Bitcoin movement.
