Nostr is definitely not a place for breaking news. Nobody in my feed mentioned the Boulder, CO molotov throwing attack, except for
Jameson Lopp (nprofile…8lp0), indirectly with a photo of the suspect, and he was making a joke. Searching for "boulder" on Amethyst this morning had very few relevant results.
Nostr is still great, but in it's utility for escaping the onslaught of cynical influencing and rage bait, you lose some connection to facts on the ground.
