It feels odd to say I've had my Ergodox EZ Glow for over 3 years at this point, and I love that board to death. Like you, it took me a while to get used to the ortholinear layout, but I think the software integration from ZSA really made the difference for me. While settling on my layout, I used their live training tool that gives live feedback for which keys you're pressing and which layer you're in, so I can touch type better and faster than on a staggered layout.
