A lot of these 40~80 hour games just really piss me off. There are some indie games that are great because they're only 10~12 hours (Hotline Miami I/II, Gris, Limbo, etc.). It's nice to have a well developed game, story, whatever in a smaller package.
I've had a lot of fun with some long/AAA titles (God of War Ragnarök, the original FF7, Red Dead 2, Far Cry 4/5) but there are also some I've dumped $60 for something hyped a lot that turned out to be shit (I couldn't get past 2 hours of Elden Ring without hating everything about it. Hogwarts Legacy is fucking awful. I beat Far Cry 6, but it was still dumb. Kingdom Hearts is totally overrated).
Longer, bigger open world games are getting more exhausting.
Nintendo is the worst. They're games are honestly not even that good. I've never made it through a Zelda game. I made it through a lot of Mario Galaxy back when I had a Wii and just gave up. Xenoblade I had great story and fuck awful gameplay. I don't see why people love Nintendo. Their games suck, their prices suck and their consoles are mediocre at best. The Switch doesn't allow you to backup your saves without a paid network account, and the PS5 also removed individual save backups (which the PS4 had!).

I have my doubts if we'll ever have permanent settlements off of Earth. I'm still 50/50 on if the original Apollo missions actually made it to the moon.
The Moon requires a lot. We need to start landing larger robots the size of cars and trucks. Robots that can mine and robots that can fabricate basic materials autonomously. That has to be in place for years before the first settlers go and build something.
And the Moon MUST be established decades before Mars ... and the first people who go to Mars will not be able to return. The first settlers will have to be okay with dying on the frontier of the Red Planet.

My signal-matrix bridge was very out of date, and when it stopped working I upgraded to the Go-rewrite version, but I never got it linked properly and just kinda gave up on bridging and just run the (very shitty and broken) desktop app.
Right now I only use: XMPP (my voice/SMS goes over XMPP too using jmp.chat), Signal and Matrix.
I was on qTox for a bit with some of the NoAgenda/NoAuthority peeps, but haven't started up that client in forever.

zfsbootmenu uses systemd-boot's UEFI shim to build itself.
zfsbootmenu incorporates fzf and some other tooling to give you a list of all your kernels and ZFS pools. I've never used gummibooot/systemd-boot by itself, so not sure if it can do the same, but zfsboot feels cozy and well documented.
