In the 80’s I understood economics. Aced macro and micro at my UC. Enjoyed them.
Now it all seems upside down to me. Huge age split here in California. Priorities are all different. Savings and home ownership just don’t matter anymore. Lifestyle drives everything. Investment capital is different. Wealth more concentrated.
I guess I understand it, but it is alien to me. I hope fusion, AI and asteroid mining bring us global wealth. If we survive. ;)
