Governments are inherently reactionary.
We've seen movement on AI which is good and early but they are lost on the question of sourcing data for models etc and how / where to control their use and capabilities if needed
None of these things would happen and be a success if it wasnt a benefit to society, just because they are new and we view new as scary ...
