we were staying in an airbnb once. and it happened to be during formosan termite season or something. they swarmed the house because of the lights. it was insane.
so we started turning off all the lights in the place every evening as the sun went down. it was like some horror movie—we would peek out the window and watch them swarm a nearby street lamp.
termites are crazy.
