If someone is using nostr to send you sats, then they will get the lightning address from your profile and assuming youve updated it to something else, then youll receive what was sent.
If you fail to update your address, that's on you. If the sender stored your primal address instead of using a nostr native application, then that's on them.
I'm also not happy to be losing my primal handle, but I have 6 months to decide if i want to pay to keep it 🤷♂️
