Proof-of-Stake (PoS), at its core, is a system where your ability to participate and earn rewards is directly tied to the amount of capital you already have.

For exemple, online influence on X is Proof-Of-Stake. You can pay to obtain more reach. I would consider this platform to be more Proof-Of-Stake than other one where paid promotion is not possible.

Proof-Of-Stake is not necessarily evil unless you apply it to dictate the rules of money. Proof-Of-Stake should not be the consensus mechanism of money if Proof-Of-Work is possible.
