Hey Carlo, this got me thinking…
What would you think about putting together a collaborative “artists of Nostr” calendar, with work like yours and a few other artists like MADEX (npub1ndk…gk2v), bitpopart (npub1gwa…a2sz), Pegah (npub1rt6…0y9g), maybe others…
Artists could choose what to submit, or could ask the nostr/#artstr community to vote on their favorite pieces to be included.
I just love the idea of showcasing the variety of artists and your styles, from around the world, all of whom share the common thread of Nostr.
Zap Splits could enable each artist earning revenue.
Expanding on that, if any nostriches run, say, a farmers market booth, or other small/local retail setting, these could provide an opportunity to purple-pill their customers. Not sure how long it takes to get these calendars made up, but Carlo at least I know you have a process in place 😉 (Also, I would hate for this to in-any-way overshadow the work and effort you’ve already put in to your own initiative here, so it may feel more appropriate to wait until your 5/5 limited runs have all sold before doing anything with this (if anyone even wants to, of course)…
What do you all think? Brilliant? Entirely uninteresting?
I’m always looking for opportunities to promote nostr (and its users) wherever I can, so this feels like a fun initiative, especially since Nostr is so early, and this community is so passionate, I’d expect an enthusiastic response.
