The nice part is that we can talk about all this asynchronously, globally without any barriers in between us and actually find each other on threads. Before nostr, it was really super hard and isolating to find people interested in dev'ing nostr/LN unless you were in a tg chatroom and that was monstrous to navigate or private to those who connected elsewhere, or on forums like bitcoin hackers or bitcoin talk boards which were kinda limiting and not zappable.
