Public search is enabled on forum.friendi.ca. I guess, the theme simply doesn't show the search box for visitors.
Just tested your hint that worked and apparently the search is set only for hashtag search Steffen K9 🐰 (nprofile…y6au). That's definitely not ideal for the purpose of finding old help content in my opinion.

I wondered that your answer didn't include the posted answer by TupambAdminOrg [2024.03] (nprofile…wpfh) that includes screenshots for how that account could achieve the redirect. Visiting this post on the helpers page itself resulted in the fact that that answer isn't available on the helpers forum page like this post over here (see the links). Looks to me that this is due to some strange bug/settings issue on this server over here, something about the "relation" of the admins profile with this profiles help request. I wonder if Hypolite Petovan (nprofile…k9z3) or Tobias (nprofile…dqyx) can see the answer with the screens by TupambAdminOrg [2024.03] (nprofile…wpfh).
The same action proposed by the admin profile, following the link of the helpers forum of the post doesn't redirect from this profile so this has to be due to a setting in this profile about redirects and stay on the local server.
