The web design community likes to go on about the open new tab thing, but even email services do that, when you hit a link. It opens in a new tab. To me, it's always made sense. In reality, when it DOESN'T happen, I feel like THAT hijacks my experience. Why would I want to have to hit the back button to go back to where I was originally? Makes NO sense. Anyway
