What’s the best type of wallet to onboard family and friends to ecash and lightning?
In particular, young kids, who may not have their own device? Ideally a wallet that could work on one mobile device (maybe even one shared profile for kids), which would allow multiple accounts. Bonus if these child accounts are sub accounts of the parents wallet (uncle Jim) and protected with a simple PIN code? That was if the child loses the device, deletes the wallet, or eats the paper seed, parent can easily recover.
The idea is, for especially kids, to create a savings account where the parent can buy/transfer BTC on to them for chores and whatnot?
My first thought was a Cashu.me wallet would be great, but doesn’t have the multiple accounts. I suppose each device could have a profile per child and each one gets their own wallet. I also remember LNbits had something similar but maybe too complicated? Cashu wallet seems easy and fun for kids to explore.
We’re talking small amounts for now, the idea is education and for kids treating this like a piggy bank which could hold up to $50-100 before transferring out to a “safer” wallet.
Throwing it out there to see what the #nostriches have to say.
