I'm a v4v guy to the bone. But, if the alternative is tracking me all over the web by trading around a hash of my email address or phone number then I'll take a paywall over that all day long.
For decades advertisers had no idea if anyone heard their ads and had to do surveys to get any sense of it. Now, they act as if they'll die without knowing every detail of every click that happens on earth.
