while am not a fan of this, as a radio stations owner, a podcast hosting company and an advertising DSP operator I have to say it’s not a bad way to get the data that advertisers want.
We need to be able to show conversation of ad spend it’s important that an advertiser can use their email of a recent user and check our data to see if that user received that ad.
Do I like that it’s an opt-out no. But media companies are putting things behind a username and password for this reason.
