This isn't true in all cases, but generally, it is. There are good reasons for this. Mobile requires a very specific way of developing and a set of API services to make it function properly.
If those are developed later, it sometimes requires painful and slow re-engineering.
I encourage developers of PKM / TFT tools to consider developing their mobile apps early on rather than later.
