Even sealed HDDs with helium rely on the atmosphere for cooling, it already needed to be sealed & gas-filled just for that.

(So do SSDs. And even water cooling systems, which just move the heat via fluid to a more practical exchange surface.)

Indeed, storage has a fairly limited lifespan. So at a minimum that'll need replacement.

There's a possibility of failure of such apparatus or its rails. Equipment to fix that would also be required, and at that point robots with more mobility become of interest.

Depending on the gases used and chemistries for various components (batteries), that might or might not work or be necessary. (Some chemistries have all they need to burn even without an atmosphere.)
