10 is most of what I've managed to fit in a conventional case unfortunately.
Even so, it's still cheaper to do that than buy arrays here. And buying HBAs capable of connecting to multiple such array machines is fairly cheap. (One could also chain expanders, but I am nowhere near doing that.)
