Yeah, most of the 'alim I know maintain Telegram channels for their mashaykh. Some are pretty good and for an educational setting I'm fine with that.
I'm honestly okay if we don't bring the MT crowd here. Most people don't need a fatwa anyway. Imam at Jummah today actually had a great reminder about how folks come to seek advice about "x" when "y" (being their fard ayn) is really what needs to be addressed.
For us laymen here, perhaps we are the last or revival of a pioneering spirit.
