I want to make sure you don't think that the reason I think we should try to understand transphobes is because I erroneously think #transphobia is a phobia in the sense of, say, claustrophobia.
To clarify things, for now I'll say trans-haters, homo-haters, etc.
I think there is a reason people become trans-haters, and it is possible (though not easy) to do something about this.
You don't have to join me. But I'm not giving up on them yet.
