Many queer a-phobes don't understand that being ace is often pretty close to their own experience. Internalising that you're born wrong somehow, being pressured into "normal" relationships or sex, being cornered, being told you're boring or cringe or unlikeable, being asked by family when you finally bring home a "normal" family.

They think being ace is just "Hey I don't want sex" and "Alright I'm good" and that's it.
