right on. this is probably the right thing to do as well, tho i have seen some stuff in the past few years that shows mixing up workouts like that actually doesn’t have too much effect long-term. that’s for hypertrophy training tho, not sure it applies to cardio, as intuitively, it makes sense.
i’ve just started back up with some cardio training myself and i’ve been doing LISS training on the stationary bike each morning before work. i can definitely tell the difference on days where i don’t vs. days where i do. more energy, more focus. and it lasts longer into the day too, i especially notice the difference when i left in the evenings.
