I'm optimistic but with caution, it all may seem well but we still have a control freak in charge. One that takes so long to get deals done and takes the piss trying to get other players on the cheap of that makes sense.

also, armchair managers thinking they know better, I get sick of people whining about the same shit even though things are changing right before our eyes, if we don't have patience then nothing will change we will just revert to default which needs to change. I'm keen for things to change but they never happen quick even when you dump a load of money into a club it takes seasons, even City took a while to become the juggernaut they are even if they did flout the rules...

also on the leaning on players that has been a bad trait of spurs for years, always lean on that one great player and sod the rest, need to move on from that way of building. So all this we must spend big hard and show the other teams mindset is bullshit I'm actually keen to see us under Ange in the next few seasons when the youth grow into the team more, it's exciting but it's all progressive and will take time eh

yep exactly, the flexibility and adaptability of players and their attitude has to warm to Ange so Toney is probably off the table so Ange will look at players that are hungry but also humble and work hard, Ange saw how much Spurs needed Kane so badly and no we have to carry on without him but I'm all for that and it means we can spend less on players that are not elite but can do a job and not have that big head attitude it unifies the team and makes it more solid...

I agree but there are factors to consider like how he adapts with bigger/better team around him... we don't know but same could be said for any player, we thought previous proven players we signed would come and do a job and flopped, happens in each club but I think he may be a better bet than Toney who seems to have put off a lot of clubs with his higher than thou attitude eh

I agree, I still think plenty of the youth in the team we have may be loaned out to give them play time but it may also depend on who comes in the next 30 days or so eh. I hope we get some names that make us all go 'yes' and not 'meh'. The other thing is Levy always looking for bargains and youth investments is in full effect but the team is also being stripped of deadwood and wages so that's progress just want us to get some good ones in.

I really like Deki through the middle tbh, we need pace on each wing for overlaps but we also need clinical crossing/finishing, we have that in Son but not in Werner or any others really, Deki can do it and his finishing can be clinical but his pace is really lacking so if Johnson can improve with his finishing we may need a backup player to cover left/right and maybe a bit older than 18 haha would Chielsa be that player?

I'm really hoping it's silent due to player breaks and not anything to do with Levy trying to barter… I still stand by what I said before the window opened, actions more than words innit, the amount of players shifted and wages saved is nuts and 3 more potentials to go (Gil, Slow, Reg) it'll be interesting to have such a light squad if we do not recruit before windows end.

seen his highlights and wondered who he was and if anyone would snap him up, Son being at spurs could be a draw plus learning from Son other than when in the international side and continuation and overlap with them two playing hand in hand and then eventually replacing Son and keeping the SK fans on board... agreed, I don't hold out much hope for it being an appointment the public will like, I hope I'm wrong though! I've been speaking lots with @npub18cr…ak0z on this and I do appreciate all GS has done and it would have been a nice way to sign out winning but certain things under his control were questionable in this tournament for sure imo. I also feel no matter the outcome of this competition he was done, 8 years is a long stint and he did good work just no reward sadly.

I don't like how we stumbled/lucked thru the euros, only won 2 of the games we played, none of the play was convincing given the talent we are meant to have and why take injured players and push them when they are not ready, why take players in a position they are injured to play and have no back up then have players at your disposal and don't use them and mostly keep the same team... I guess I'm just frustrated with the team setup, the play and the management... meh COYS

Speaking of injuries, it feels like since Benny and a few others had long lay offs they are not the same as they were, hope I'm wrong but Maddison and Benny seem well off what they were - hopefully it's rust, I know with Benny he came back and got hit with another injury so maybe he was being precautious, we will see eh!

I'm still not sure, the way we play is hard on players and his body may be beyond repair, maybe not, it's up to Ange.
I also can't see Ange going for Toney given he likes to speak to each player of interest, given he has this attitude I'm unsure Toney would pass the Ange test but we will see what happens.

This was my thought, looking at some of his past plays and tactics you'll notice Ange likes fluid and flex play which confuses the hell out of opposing teams but sadly our clientele is not up to the standard needed for that in PL atm esp with low block being our kryptonite at the moment - lets hope for a solid window or I can see Ange walking...

yeah just watched it too, when you think we have potential St in Son, Deki and Richy if we focus on wings that is scary how some of those players can switch too. I'd also like to see us go for players no one is speaking of like VDV and Vic but are they out there and will they work - it all remains to be seen but Kubo and Eze would be amazing additions!
