since every message is signed, whitelists are easy. that's trust based. or of id's you know which are real. then there can be restrictions based on proof of work of event id's or pubkeys

this is nostr. people are using different clients, which all follow the same rules/protocol and allow communication. applications like anigma.io , astral.ninja, damus app on iOS testflight, are example of nostr clients.
