We made human take a nice long nap today because the drugs they gave her yesterday for her MRI made her sick today (the fact that she did nap tells us she needs our snuggles! She’s not a napper!). Good think Gus is back to Definitely Gus status!!

Home safe and high on pain meds. I struggled a little with the anesthesia today so the doc only took out the one really bad tooth, my front lower fang. The other one will probably need to come out next year since it’s showing early signs of resorption. we will schedule with the special anesthesiologist (who was thankfully there today by coincidence and stepped in to help a bit), and they will take out as many teeth as they safely can since there are others showing fainter signs of the lesions

Home safe! We still have to wait for the echocardiogram on Friday for the all clear, but electrically my heart is behaving and it looks normal on X-rays. And my vet says the murmur is very faint, which is better than the aternative!
