@nprofile…h9qy we named our daughter Phoebe, after the woman who was entrusted to deliver and read (or preach!) the letter to the Romans to all the Roman churches. For a long time, translators were so certain that she could not be a woman that they mistranslated her name to the masculine form, Phoebus.
Patriarchy is a cultural intrusion on the gospel message, not a feature. Its practice originated in Mediterranean Pagan Antiquity. Who knows what other ways it had distorted the received tradition.

@nprofile…h9qy easy. Well, simple, not easy. Just interrupt the windings about 3/4s of the way through with a three pole, two way switch. Position one, sends truncated signal to output jack, position two gives continuity between the two sections of winding and sends the full signal to the output.
It is almost certainly easier and cheaper to get hotter pickups and turn the volume down on your volume pot
