Please watch the videos from Oct7 and listen to the testimonials of survivors
Whole families were burnt as Hamas murderers went home by home, and whenever they couldn't open the bomb shelter door, they burned down the house to make them go out
They threw grenades at a father running into shelter with two small children in his arms
They gunned down the party dancers with machine guns
This is on tape, don't go gaslighting video evidence

There is a lot more to what's going on than a dry number
The things that were done to people, the cruelty, rapes, burning of children, gunning down of civilians trying to run from a nature party..
Is really not the same as bombing of a Hamas headquarters housed in a civilian building, with unintended civilian casualties.
By designing a battlefield they control to maximize civilian deaths, they aim to get immunity. And you want them to have it

The problem I see with all these criticisms of Israel is that they all lead to option 2.
Oct 7 was a Holocaust level massacre event. A huge trauma.
And Israelis won't accept a risk of it happening again
Every single person criticizing Israel is demanding Israelis allow similar events to happen again, with high probability. That's why Israelis reject it

I defend Israel's actions because in my view, Israel's only options are:
1. Fight Hamas: since they actively try to get Gaza children killed (placing munitions, HQ, etc in schools, hospitals, homes with children, etc), children in Gaza will be killed
2. Give up, and allow Hamas to repeat Oct 7 massacres over and over, also encouraging Hezbollah to do the same. Not to mention continued rocket fire at our homes. Children in Israel will be killed.

Urban warfare where Hamas uses human shields to maximize civilian deaths may get many civilians killed, that does not make Israel's actions genocide.
Hamas definitely tried to genocide Jews and Israelis, and successfully erased a few Israeli villages entirely.
OTOH, Israel attmepts to evacuate all civilians before attacking, with limited success as Hamas blocks evacuation.

Hamas engineered the battlefield in Gaza this way.

If a nuclear war starts, whether or not Finland is in NATO won't matter.
Being in NATO means Russia will not invade.
