So I just wanted to check with the other app devs. It seems like dynamic add insertion is wreaking havoc when streaming audio.
However they are doing it, it's changing the reported duration of the audio streams in ways that the current system audio drivers can't handle and causes weird skipping issues. We've seen this on both Android / iOS and is rapidly becoming a support nightmare.

Just musing on decentralization and reliance on getAlby. How hard would it be to setup a your own node and surface it with an Alby compatible API? Then as an app dev I could allow users to use alby or their own self-custody "Alby-lite" server with just a simple URL swap in the app.

Live Item / live boost support is now live on Android much sooner than expected. I absolutely did not accidentally push @npub1909…myta 's changes into our prod branch without beta testing. This was totally on purpose.
