There is the part where toxic levels of microplastics are showing up in testicles of both humans and dogs. University of New Mexico recently published this discovery.
We are strangling species to death with our garbage. That *is* a problem because it will end in population crashes across species as the plastics work through the food web. It shows up as a so-called fertility crisis, in that it really is one.
