that quote does assume a lot about you! that's just another form of assigning a gender
i'm glad you had a space to explore and meet others with all sorts of different gender identities! it's been really helpful for me too. i'm very much in the process of figuring out exactly where i fit as well. i wouldn't be surprised if i end up as full transfem eventually but i also feel really good about being sort of generically nonbinary especially now that I'm on hrt :3

for the record i thought some of the jokes aimed at you were a bit too far, but i'm still pretty new here so i didn't feel like it was my place to intervene.
i think overall it's a good idea not to try to crack the eggs of others or to call someone an egg unless they identify that way. i think if someone had tried to do that to me, say, 5 years ago i probably would have clammed up and doubled down on being cis
if someone had done it 1 year ago it probably would have helped me along, but i also think that it's impossible to know exactly where someone else is at so i'm glad no one tried with me
