@npub1m2l…qlv3 This makes me remember some guy running for President back in the 80s or 90s. There were infomercials for him, and it was a photo and “speaking from the xxxx penitentiary.” Now I want to look up who that was, ‘cause apparently you can run for President even if in jail. Or could :)

@npub1xje…85rf We had a place in Des Moines open with a robot to help their servers. I found myself there with my girlfriend’s coworkers for a gathering. Robot was already broken and out for repairs. So the main thing that was promoted/mentioned about the place (not the food, not the beer) was not there. #disappointed #R2bringmeabeer

We cannot keep drugs out of prisons, or the White House. It’s time to admit the drug was is unwinnable. Legalize everything, allow buyer ratings, etc. and let’s see if we still have all the drug crime.

@npub19fy…n5nv Neither outcome is ideal. Unreleated, but “people being people” is often a problem. The movie industry went though financial hell with theaters closed, productions stopped, and then years of begging us to get back to theaters… so obviously, once things feel a bit like normal, the writers decide it’s a perfect time to strike. (Right after we got used to NOT needing to go to a theater or watch new content.) I wouldn’t be surprised if we have another pilot strike any day now ;-)

I only read the headlines, This one tells me airline “disruptions” have gotten so bad that talking about them isn’t news any more, so we have to do things like “here’s the airline that had the most.” It’s a contest, I think.

@npub19wl…aenr That makes sense. I think that’s the first thing I would want to change. Either that, or remove having to warn anyone, but let folks get sued for side effects. Their choice. Either “I told you, you chose to do it” versus “ I didn’t tell you, you got hurt, to bad.”
