This from Kent Beck in "Extreme Programming Explained" (2nd edition) may be one of the most impactful paragraphs I've ever read on software development.
Now I'm extremely wary any time the solution to a problem seems to be to do something less frequently. I've seen the problems that causes too often.

Apple Intelligence does seem like it has privacy improvements over other services, but the ultimate question is whether I trust *any* company to not misuse the data in a way that isn't obvious *and* to not mess up the security. And I really, truly don't think I trust any company to do that.

Because I have no sense of moderation, I just started playing Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster on iPhone, Chrono Trigger on DS, Final Fantasy XIII on PS3, and I am just barely hanging on to the motivation to hold off on starting Parasite Eve on Vita.
