Etsy is demanding that I upload my 'government issued id' to continue getting paid for any sales I might make in my shop there.
Hmmmm....I think I'm going to close down my shop there, or put it on vacation mode. Honestly, I do not trust Etsy with a photo of my legal ID, which is what they're demanding.
So, ugh.

Misogyny is everywhere, all the time.
Never mind my day to day experiences. But for the 10-ish years that I ran a Science workshop teaching the Spatial-Functional relationships between cell organelles to kids of all ages to thousands of people over 3-day weekends of the Maker Faire...who did everyone turn to as the authority again and again?
Not me. Not the woman who developed and improved the workshop year after year.
No, they turned to my husband, who was helping out.

I liked how today's #inkyDays drawing turned out, so I decided to try it on watercolor paper. Love how the inks were playing on the paper, even though my drawing is a little wonky. I may have to play with this more.

I love how the colors turned out in this piece, and I keep coming back to it when I need a little boost of joy and attitude. I created it with code, and the text string "f*ck cancer", shortly before going in for cancer surgery.
I'm doing so much better now. It's an amazing feeling.

Some days...just because of the stress of the past few months...and years...I want to curl up and cry, or just stay all warm and comfy in bed all day, and just not do anything...and then I'm fine again. It's so weird, but I do understand that it's not a response to any specific thing. It's just that my body has been staving off all this stress and uncertainty, and wants to release some of it and be super comfy.
